Wow! 1920's Griswold No. 8 Cast Iron Waffle Maker (314/315) with Tall Base (Bailed, raised 88)!
ABOUT THIS PIECE....
This vintage Griswold #8 Cast Waffle Iron (#314/314 and matching bailed, raised 88 High Base) has been fully restored and seasoned. After full electrolysis and restoration using three rounds of our oil blend, itโs ready for the next 100 years of use. The base is a matching high base which is perfect for all stove tops. The paddles are in fantastic condition and has no cracks or damage. The base was used back in the early 30โs or so over a wood stove so the typical sulfur pitting is noticeable. It was made for wood stoves so this isnโt from neglect, it is from daily use. We have discounted down the price for that reason however. It makes delicious waffles and is a centerpiece for your gourmet kitchen. Shipping is of utmost importance so shipment comes insured and is carefully packed for the ride.
