Cast Iron Conditioning Balm (4 oz - Small)
ABOUT THIS PIECE....
Cast Iron Conditioning Balm (4 oz)
We are often asked how we get our pieces looking that deep rich color and what oil we use. So we decided to make our recipe available with our Cast Iron Conditioning Balm: A custom blend of beef tallow, beeswax, and avocado oil designed to protect and enhance well seasoned cast iron.
Used daily, it adds a deep, rich luster while helping seal in existing seasoning and guard against moisture. The result is a non greasy, protective finish that keeps your cast iron performing beautifully between cooks.
This is the same seasoning blend we use on every restored piece to bring vintage cast iron cookware back to life. Simple, effective, and made to be used.
How to Use
Give your cast iron a good clean and scrub. Warm it on the stovetop or in the oven to chase off any lingering moisture. While it’s still warm, use a small dab of balm and rub it in with a clean cloth or paper towel. Wipe away all excess until the surface feels dry and smooth.
Good to Know
For use on cast iron cookware only. Made from food-grade ingredients, including organic beef tallow, beeswax, and avocado oil. Contains avocado oil. Not intended for cosmetic or medicinal use. Allow cookware to cool before handling. Keep out of reach of children.
