Our Love For Vintage Cast Cookware Explained

Cast & Clara Bell is a family run small business dedicated to restoring the beauty and performance of vintage cast iron cookware. We specialize in fully restored, ready to cook pieces from historic American foundries including Griswold, Wagner, Erie and Lodge. Every item we offer has been rescued, cleaned, refinished and seasoned by hand so it arrives naturally nonstick, food safe and ready for everyday cooking. Our goal is to make heirloom quality cast iron accessible to home cooks and collectors who appreciate craftsmanship and history. We source authentic antique skillets, griddles, Dutch ovens, waffle irons and specialty pieces, then restore each one through an eco friendly, chemical free process

. We focus on preserving original character while creating a smooth, reliable cooking surface that performs as well as or better than modern cookware. For rare or damaged items that cannot be safely restored for cooking, our local artisan transforms them into unique pieces like spatulas, serving boards, clocks and home goods so even unusable cookware gets a second life. We ship quickly, pack securely and update our online storefront with new pieces every week so customers can find everything from common daily use skillets to hard to find collector pieces. Cast & Clara Bell is committed to quality, transparency and care in every step of the process. As cast iron continues to grow in popularity, we remain focused on craftsmanship over mass production and on offering a curated selection of pieces that will last for generations. We believe cookware made a century ago should not sit forgotten in basements or barns. It should be restored, appreciated and used to cook memorable meals. Our mission is to preserve the legacy of American cast iron and to provide a trusted place for customers searching for restored cast iron cookware, ready to cook Griswold skillets and true vintage cast iron that is in stock and prepared with professional restoration. We are proud to help families bring historic cast iron back into their kitchens and keep these timeless pieces in use for the next hundred years.
