Priced To Sell; This skillet is priced to sell because it spins on glass and it has sulfur pitting from being used on a wood stove VERY early in its life. Still a GREAT daily user!
This 5th Series Erie skillet was sourced from NC, where it was part of a large collection. This skillet is a wonderful one to own as a first skillet or to fill in for a collection. It shows all the signs of a well crafted, hand made American piece of cookware. This series variation of the ERIE skillet was made only between 1905-1907 and came in sizes 6 through 12 and was one of the last before Griswold converted over to the Griswold name on its pieces. It does NOT sit flat so best for gas or electric coil tops. The interior surface is amazing. Highly collectible daily user at a wonderful price.
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
