The Wagner trivets were made in both cast iron and aluminum. This one is made of aluminum so it is cleaned slightly differently. We soak aluminum pieces in a oxalic soak (oxalic acid is found in potatos, rhubarb leaves, etc...) and that cleans it properly. We then scrub it, but there are imperfections from casting and use as youâll see in pictures. We are not experts in aluminum so they are purchased at your discretion and you may opt to clean it further
Trivets serve as two helpers, first as a separator between proteins and the bottom of the pot in cooking, and then also as a table top spacer between the pot and the table. No cracks or issues with this trivet. Perfect for slow cooking meats without sticking to the bottom!

Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you donât overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, youâve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.
