What is the deal with this skillet price? Well, some skillets are just in rarified air, and when you find them, they are usually priced as such. Wapak made just a few logo styles from the early 1900‘s until about 1926. Many patterns other than the Indian Logo were likely from Griswold‘s Erie patterns. However the ‘chicken foot" pattern, called as such because the Its lightweight and easy to use design make it one sought after piece for collectors and chefs alike. Only the 8 was known to have been made, and is as rare as some of the more obscure Indian Head logos.

Cooking surface is in great condition, and while it may have small imperfections as the Wapak skillets tend to have, it will be an amazingly smooth surface for you as its used. We restore all of our pans using electrolysis, and then season them three times with our oil blend. This pan is ready to use AND display in your kitchen!
