Restoration quality · ready to cookThis 1890's Era, LARGE Erie #10 Dutch Oven (835), made by Griswold, is a fantastic piece for your kitchen! Made from the 1890's to approx 1905 when Griswold had not yet introduced it's self titled logo, this is a specimen of a piece. Coming from our personal collection from downsizing, it has been a staple in our home. It is gorgeous, simple and elegant. Sits flat, and re-restored for sale, you don't come across these very often, let alone in this size. The surfaces are beautiful and in great shape, so if you're looking for a great piece, this is it.
It‘s becoming difficult to find the Dutch ovens larger than a 9, and sizes 11 through 13 are all but non-existent. So the #10 is really one of the largest you can get for soups, stews and chilis.
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
