Lodge made a number of series‘ of pots, and this #8 spider pot with matching lid is a perfect addition to your Lodge cast iron collection! Manufactured in the early to mid 1900‘s, Lodge is known for their slightly heavier cookware (still lighter than today‘s modern cast iron cookware!) so they make perfect tools on the smoker, or in the oven. This spider pot with lid is a workhorse waiting for you! It has been fully restored and seasoned with our oil mix, so it is ready to use when you get it home! Great gift idea for the cast iron collector or gourmet weekend warrior.

I give hearth cooking demonstrations at our local rural heritage museum and needed a spider pot for several dishes. The spider arrived in great shape. The packaging was very good. The condition of this spider was like new. I have since used it and can't be more please.
I have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. I picked up two pieces of Griswold cast iron specifically for breakfast dishes for myself. Couldn’t be more pleased with the seasoning and quality of the pieces and how accurate the item descriptions were. Not to mention the prices were exceptional for the quality. After going back and forth between a brand new cast iron skillet and a vintage piece, I finally decided on a Wagner from Cast and Clara Bell. I love the skillet. It’s a beautiful piece. It shipped quickly and arrived packed so securely. I absolutely cannot wait to use it daily and have a quality piece I can hand down to my daughter someday. I will definitely be purchasing more.

I bought a number seven Griswold pan, when I received it, it was well packaged and in great condition.
I gave it an additional two seasonings with grapeseed oil, and this thing is better than a Teflon pan as far as nonstick goes. I have several cast-iron pans, and this one is my favorite. Thanks to the casting Clara team for doing great work. I added a number seven lead that I already had to it.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Restored to perfection. This is my new daily pan, better than my modern lodge! I ordered 3 different pans, and the packaging was perfect.
