This is a cool piece! This flat bean pot (FBP) is a cool one to have by the campfire or in your gourmet kitchen! They're absolutely beautiful even though this one has been used over the last 80 years. Birmingham Stove and Range produced some of the nicest skillets, dutch ovens and cast iron cookware in the south in the Early to Mid 1900's. The Red Mountain Series was one of the earliest to be produced, with the earliest having handmade, hand-scribed marked pieces. This #8 flat bean pot has been restored and seasoned three times in our oil blend, and are ready to use when you receive them!Β

This is priced to sell because of a small crack that is over the top of the lid. There is no concern for any further cracking if it is taken care of appropriately. It also had pitting from being left out in the elements in a previous life. We stripped the rust completely away and rebuilt it with three rounds of seasoning to help prevent future rust.

DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
