Birmingham Stove and Range produced some of the nicest skillets, dutch ovens and cast iron cookware in the south in the Early to Mid 1900's. The Red Mountain Series was one of the earliest to be produced, with the earliest having handmade, hand scribed marked pieces. In and about the mid 1900's, they began to produce what's known as the "Century Series" holloware, which included skillets, waffle irons, dutch ovens and gem pans. This large Century skillet is a cool piece to hang in your kitchen or to give as a gift. Best used all ranges. Its a beautiful piece we know you'll love
