Important: The surface on this griddle is slightly uneven due to what we believe was a previous person cleaning it with vinegar. Vinegar is tricky because the acidity can cause "etching" which is what you see here. So we have reduced the price to reflect this. However we only season it three times so as you use it and properly care for it, it will blend with time to almost unnoticeable.
Wagner Ware, made in Sidney Ohio, was known for their amazingly light and smooth cast iron cookware and this "greaseless" skillet is a great example! Deep grooves around the edge of the pan make for a perfect runoff of grease while cooking. It is in FANTASTIC condition, the logo is crisp and the bottom/top are both in near unused shape. Super unique piece for the collector or a gift idea for the kitchen gourmand. This versatile piece is perfect for frying and making sauces in your gourmet kitchen. It was sourced from upstate Pennsylvania from a barn estate sale. It has been stripped using a lye bath and electrolysis, and has been seasoned 3 times with our oil blend. Ready to use!
Note: This pan is flat and is perfect for all cook surfaces.
