This waffle iron was brought to us from Illinois from a family sale. The short bases are perfect for any cook surface especially gas! For being over 100 years old, its in great shape and is a beautiful character piece to have in your gourmet kitchen. It's from the pre-WagnerWare days, when Wagner cast iron just carried the principal name. It's a hard to find piece that you'll love having at home! Short bases are a blessing to have for all cook surfaces including out on the campfire because they allow for quick turning on any surface.
