This waffle iron was brought to us from Illinois from a family sale. The style paddle is from the "Wagner" arc logo era, where they had not yet converted over to the stylized logo. These were some of the finest pieces they made in the 1910‘s and 20‘s. The short bases are perfect for any cook surface especially gas! For being over 100 years old, its in great shape and is a beautiful character piece to have in your gourmet kitchen. It‘s a hard to find piece that you‘ll love having at home! The wood handles are original, and both cuffs have cracks in the casting. They are solidly anchored to the paddles. The wood has been lightly sanded and resurfaced with lacquer to preserve them for another 100 years.

I have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. After going back and forth between a brand new cast iron skillet and a vintage piece, I finally decided on a Wagner from Cast and Clara Bell. I love the skillet. It’s a beautiful piece. It shipped quickly and arrived packed so securely. I absolutely cannot wait to use it daily and have a quality piece I can hand down to my daughter someday. I will definitely be purchasing more.

I bought a number seven Griswold pan, when I received it, it was well packaged and in great condition.
I gave it an additional two seasonings with grapeseed oil, and this thing is better than a Teflon pan as far as nonstick goes. I have several cast-iron pans, and this one is my favorite. Thanks to the casting Clara team for doing great work. I added a number seven lead that I already had to it.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Restored to perfection. This is my new daily pan, better than my modern lodge! I ordered 3 different pans, and the packaging was perfect.
