Have you ever heard the phrase "it‘s not your grandmother‘s....so and so?" Well, this IS the same as my grandmother‘s skillet and they made them so much lighter and smoother back then. Clara Bell bought her #8 three notch Lodge in the 40‘s before she left Tennessee to move north. This earlier chicken fryer is a diverse piece to own and use in your kitchen.  Both feature raised letter maker marks, and it sits perfectly flat.  Ideal for soups, stews, and of course Frying!

Trust us on this one, if you haven‘t used a vintage Lodge (see back of pan heat ring for number of notches) you need to test one out. (testing not available, but you get what we‘re saying...) When we have pan events and meet folks handling restored vintage cast iron, the most common reaction is to how better the quality is once they pick one up.

DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
