Condition & Details

This Griswold Iron Mountain series #6 cast iron skillet, made in the mid 1940‘s, is a fantastic piece to add to your collection, or as an everyday piece of history in your kitchen. The skillet has been restored and seasoned three times using our oil blend, and is ready to display and use. The Iron Mountain series while unmarked, has the fantastic Griswold quality you‘ll love, and this skillet is no exception.  Made in sizes 3 through 14, the most prevalent are the 3, 8, 9 and the Chicken Pan deep skillet.  Tougher to find are the others in the series. There are no noticeable cracks, the pan sits flat and does not wobble on a glass surface.

DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
