Arguably the most iconic set of skillets, this Griswold-marked skillet was made just after the turn of the century and is a part of the "Slant" Heat Ring Erie Pa USA or E.P.U. sets. The “Slant Erie logo (Griswold in italics), was first made in the early 1900‘s and continued in this design until roughly the 1920‘s. The age of the skillet puts it just about in the antique range, and will continue to be appreciated (if taken care of properly) for the next 100 years. The cooking surface is in fantastic shape, has been restored to its original surface, and re-seasoned 3 times with beef tallow

It’s pretty much exactly what I expected.
Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

I love the flop griddle. I been looking for one a long time. I intend to use it this winter when I start cooking on my wood burning cook stove.
This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.
