If you haven‘t cooked with an early 1900‘s Lodge skillet, you NEED to see the difference. Lodge made some of the finest skillets because of the balance between thickness and overall weight. When we are asked which is the best skillet for overall use in the kitchen, the answer is the early Lodge skillets. Smaller yet sturdy handle, and the walls aren‘t super thin. It holds heat best of all the vintage brands. The skillet inside is a smooth American made Cast Iron and its handle is as smooth to hold as the cooking surface. It is perfect as your first Vintage Lodge or to add to your growing collection. There are no cracks or damage apparent, but see pictures for proof. The pan has been restored via electrolysis and has been seasoned three times with our oil blend. You‘ll love this!
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
