So we get these from time to time and what's cool about them is that they were made sometime AFTER Erie's were made, because its made clearly with a Griswold ERIE pattern (as you can see), BUT it was made using bottom gate-marking, which was mostly outdated by side gating by the 1910's. These are featured in the collectors books to show what a copy of an ERIE looks like. There are lots of copies out there that were made in the early 1900's that are referred to as "unknown mystery" skillets. They were not made for value, but for cooking. Likely made in small towns or areas where there wasn't an easy access to new skillets. Very cool conversation starter and while its roughly made, it will work great in your kitchen!

It’s pretty much exactly what I expected.
Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.
