The Lodge Manufacturing Company is an American staple in cookware, particularly cast iron. Being one of the only remaining American foundries still in existence makes them a special entity in and of itself. The newer pieces of cast iron made since mass manufacturing became the standard, are known to be heavier and more of a challenge to maneuver in the kitchen. However this mid century Lodge square skillet, is one you have to have for your collection! The pan was found near Harrisburg PA and was in good condition for its age. We completely stripped and restored it as we do all of our pans, and you see the result. A beautiful skillet for you gourmet kitchen. Perfect for grilling cheese sandwiches, or bacon and eggs, this is a very versatile piece!Β

Sits flat, does not spin. Ready to use!
