This dandy of a broiler (875/876 P/N) is a tough one to find for a reason. Not many are left around from back when Griswold made these, AND it has BOTH pieces in tact and in beautiful shape! Usually only found in the collections of seasoned aficionados. Griswold didnโt make the traditional "angus broilers" that you see from Wagner/Wagwold. Its a perfect pan for display, when not being used over a flame for searing meats and veggies. The grooves will not only make a beautiful ribbing of sear marks, but it will drip away and collect along the bottom. Donโt sleep on this one!
IMPORTANT: There is a very small (approx 1/2 inch) line on the top of the broiler that may be a crack or from a pattern shift. If it is either, it will not affect performance or quality as the shift/crack does not show all the way through. The price has been discounted $75 as a result.
