LOOK at this monster. It‘s priced to sell because way back, likely in the early 1920‘s, someone left it sit over a small eyelet on a wood stove, and the sulfur from the stove created the pitting affect you see, smack dab over the logo! So what would normally be a $500 skillet is now reduced down to almost half because of the pitting. It will be an AMAZING large skillet for someone that doesn‘t care about perfection, and wants a great Griswold to make a pound of bacon in!
What an amazing piece to use and own. If you are looking for a big high quality skillet, this skillet is for you. This huge #12 skillet was fully restored from the condition we found it in in an upstate NY estate. It was preserved very well except for the logo sulfur pitting mentioned above. We call the 12‘s the "bacon skillets" because they handle cooking a full pack of bacon like a charm! It sits flat and does not spin. Great every day AND display pan in your gourmet kitchen! This one is special, don‘t let it pass you by.
