When some folks ask us what our favorite of the REALLY old cookware sets are, our first response is usually an Erie first- or second-series piece. Besides the fact that these pieces, like this first series #10 skillet, are over 125 years old, they're also lighter than dream and fantastic to cook with. This one was priced to sell because it's had some aging to it over the years. It has some etching on the inside surface that is more than just the usual amount. To be fair we discounted down this very hard-to-find piece for you to try it out for yourself. It's important to note that it does not sit flat and will move on glass so it's best for gas or electric coil tops.
Most Erie skillets have a high price tag because of their age and durability! This Erie skillet will bring you years of happiness and will give this skillet a second life! It has been stripped down to its original surface and built back up three layers of our oil blend so its ready to go!
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
