For the collector, the number 4 skillet is a more challenging one to find. Some say that it‘s because the number 3 skillet was so popular that ones around the 3, like the number 2 and number 4 weren‘t as necessary when they were made in the early 1920s. For the home chef, we think that the number 4 is actually a better all purpose skillet than the 3! This smooth bottom LBL skillet is restored and ready to use. The #4's were finished in a natural, polished and nickel finish and this originally was a polished finish. The polishing wears off in time so you can see that this one has been worn.
We have discounted the piece 30% as a result of the wear on the polish. It sits flat so great for all cook surfaces!
