THIS ONE...is a tale of two skillets... The outside is MINT condition. It is in fantastic shape and sits flat. It is priced to sell because there is distinct pitting, primarily at the 12 Oclock position of the skillet. We venture that at some point in its early life, it was used outside or kept in an area where the was moisture over an extended period. The elements and cast iron don‘t mix, which created the pitted are. We have FULLY restored it and stopped the oxidization process and have resealed it for you. So while this is not a perfect skillet it is priced to be a fantastic daily user. It will hang and display beautifully for you and cooking with pitting is not a deterrant if you use the proper heat when you cook. It‘s over heating that breaks down the barrier between food and the iron, not the surface quality. So this skillet is for someone who values a high quality piece of cookware, but doesn‘t care about the cosmetic perfections. A fantastic daily user!
