Priced to Sell! BIG skillet, Great Price! 1910's Griswold #10 Skillet, large slant logo, 716 ERIE series. Great value piece
THIS ONE...is a tale of two skillets... The inside is almost MINT condition. And the outside is in fantastic shape and sits flat. It is priced to sell because there is a reddish hue to the bottom and a small amount of "micro pitting". We venture that at some point in its early life, it was used over a small eye on a wood stove and one time it was left on the stove too long. There is not warping, no issues other than the hue which will blend in with additional use. So we have a good sized discount on the price to account for the hue.
1920βs Vintage Griswold Large Block #10 skillet, has been restored and seasoned for you. The #10 is a tougher piece to find and this one is from the earlier block logo family. Again, a near mint piece on the inside and the outside has a reddish hue and some minor pitting. They will always be visible, but they will deepen with lots of use. So this skillet is for someone who values a high quality piece of cookware, but doesnβt care about the cosmetic perfections. A fantastic daily user!
