I flat out LOVE this era of Wagner skillets. There were a dozen iterations of the Wagner Foundries holloware from the late 1800‘s to the mid 1900‘s, and while some of them, like the stylized logo smooth bottoms, were made over a decade or so, some were only made in specific years (ex the heat ring 4 digit c/n skillet style). This arc straight logo design is a hard to find style, AND being a #6 this one is not as prevalent as say the #8. What a great gift idea to give to someone who is a collector or for yourself to have something special!
This pan sits flat so it is perfect for any cook surface but it is priced to sell because of the sulfur pitting that was likely early in its life, when used over a wood stove. It has been fully restored and seasoned so it is ready to use when you get it home.
