IMPORTANT: This skillet does not sit flat so its best for gas or electric coil. Then you will see in pics that while the outside is darn near perfect, the inside had exposure to water over its life which caused some sporadic pitting. Pitting does not affect cooking, and its temperature that determines non-stick"ness". Great first pan for someone that is getting into cast iron cooking, OR for someone that doesn‘t care about pristine condition.
The little black dress, the 1964 Mustang, and the #8 skillet... all classic American standards, at least to us! Wagner Ware, made in Sidney Ohio, was known for their amazingly light and smooth cast iron cookware. This skillet is a prime example! The skillet is perfect for toasting a grilled sandwich on a cold night or making a quesadilla for the kids after school! It has been fully restored and is Ready to use
