Note: This fryer sits flat but in its previous life it appears someone tried to scrape pitting that was on the bottom with an abrasive utensil causing marks. Perhaps a dremel. These are discouraged methods, but regardless it is a great piece looking for a great home! Cooking will not be an issue at all!
This 1088 F chicken fryer deep skillet was made by the Wagner Company, Circa 1930‘s. It has a smooth surface on the bottom but as mentioned above, restored pitting on the inside. Perfect for frying up your favorite delicacies, and making sauces on the stove or in the oven The skillet has been restored back to its original surface, and seasoned three times with organic beef tallow. It is a perfect gift for the home chef or cast iron collector.

It’s pretty much exactly what I expected.
Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.
