The difference between the two is that this one, the deep skillet, has pour spouts and the fish fryer does not (typically). Made in the 1930‘s, this set of skillet and lid are super versatile in that you can use it for a skillet, a fryer, a baking pan, or even a modified dutch oven. You can fry up some tasty chicken, make you‘re famous chili, and finish with a hearty cornbread and use the same skillet for it. Handy piece of history to have in your gourmet kitchen! Sits flat so great for all cook tops. Fully restored, seasoned and ready to use!

It’s pretty much exactly what I expected.
Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.

I could not be happier with my purchase! I have looked for the “perfect” O’Brien & O’Brien skillet to represent my O’Brien family in my new home, and this is it! I couldn’t believe it arrived on the same day that we received our certificate of occupancy. It is now in its place on our wood stove!
