Have you ever heard the phrase "it's not your grandmother's....so and so?" Well, this IS your grandmother's skillet and they made them so much lighter and smoother back then. Trust us on this one, if you haven't used a vintage Lodge (see back of pan heat ring for number of notches) you need to test one out. (testing not available, but you get what we're saying...) When we have pan events and meet folks handling restored vintage cast iron, the most common reaction is to how better the quality is once they pick one up. Sits flat so perfect for all stoves.
