This is a great pot to have in your kitchen cast iron arsenal! It sits perfectly flat and is gorgeous inside and out. It is usable on glass but not recommended. There is no damage to the kettle but there has been some light pitting on the inside in small patches. Overall a fantastic pot for chili! Made in the 20‘s the kettles Griswold made for the most part, did not accompany a lid.
