My goodness, these pancake griddles are in demand! A fantastic display piece, a fantastic pancake maker, it's fully marked and it sits flat! Highland Foundry Co, was based in Massachusetts in the 1800's was known for their skillets and griddles. The other item that they made was this pancake "flop" griddle. Flop griddles have become very popular because of their unique engineered flip style for making pancakes, but also because they are tough to find.

It’s pretty much exactly what I expected.
Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.

I love the flop griddle. I been looking for one a long time. I intend to use it this winter when I start cooking on my wood burning cook stove.
This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.

I could not be happier with my purchase! I have looked for the “perfect” O’Brien & O’Brien skillet to represent my O’Brien family in my new home, and this is it! I couldn’t believe it arrived on the same day that we received our certificate of occupancy. It is now in its place on our wood stove!
