Everyone knows Griswold for their amazing craftsmanship in holloware skillets, dutch ovens and waffle irons, but few have had the opportunity to make a cake mold from an authentic Santa Claus! Perfect for display AND use at Christmas, the mold is three dimensional and ready to form a delicious 3D cake. They were made in a few different styles (both aluminum and cast iron), with slight differences. They were originally made in the 1920‘s and continued up until the factory was sold off to Wagner.
The Santa Mold is one of a few commonly reproduced Griswolds. There are books highlighting the differences between a real and copy for the Santa mold, namely that the tongue is visible, that the lettering on the handle is crisp and even, and many of the authentic Santas had a tell tale pattern shift that looks like a crack on the bottom left. This is an authentic mold.
We rarely get these to sell, and they usually do not last long!

I have number 3 through No,10 and No 14 Griswald cast iron pans and the matching covers except the cover for the No. 4 fry pan. I looking for that cover and No. 11. 12, 13, pans and covers. I would appreciate any help you could give me in securing these items. I would also like the No. 2 pan if you were to come across it.

My grandfather recently passed and I was given three of his Griswold skillets. I fell in love and had to have more sizes in this collection. Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.
