Handspun French Rolling Pin - Spalted Maple
ABOUT THIS PIECE....
Handmade French Rolling Pin - Spalted Maple Wood
This handmade French rolling pin brings together timeless baking function and natural hardwood beauty. Crafted from Spalted Maple wood, this tapered rolling pin is designed for bakers who want more control, better feel, and a more traditional baking experience than a standard handled rolling pin.Β Spalted Maple has a beautiful, unique grain pattern and is very durable.
The French tapered shape gives you excellent maneuverability while rolling pie crusts, pastry dough, cookie dough, pasta dough, pizza dough, and sourdough. Because there are no handles or moving parts, you work directly with the wood, giving you better pressure control and a more natural feel as you roll from the center outward.
Each rolling pin is handmade from responsibly sourced salvaged hardwood. The lighter wood tone gives this piece a clean, natural look that feels right at home beside vintage cast iron, stoneware, handmade cutting boards, mixing bowls, and heirloom kitchen tools.
This is not a mass produced kitchen accessory. Each rolling pin is individually made by hand, so slight variations in grain, color, shape, and dimension should be expected. Those small differences are part of what make each piece unique.

About Husted Home
Husted Home creates functional art for everyday use. Each piece is handmade in small batches using responsibly sourced salvaged wood, with nearly all materials sourced locally from southeastern Pennsylvania. The goal is simple: create beautiful, practical kitchen tools that are meant to be used, enjoyed, and kept.
There is no mass production, automation, or factory line behind these pieces. Each rolling pin is shaped, finished, and handled by hand. That means every item carries its own grain pattern, tone, and character. It also means your rolling pin is more than a kitchen tool. It is a handmade piece of functional art built for daily use.
A Note About Handmade Products
Because each Husted Home product is handmade from natural salvaged wood, no two pieces will be exactly alike. Wood grain, color, dimensions, finish tone, and small details may vary slightly from piece to piece. These natural variations are not defects. They are part of the character and beauty of handmade wooden kitchen tools.
Please review all photos carefully before purchasing. We do our best to represent each item accurately, but color and tone may vary slightly based on lighting, photography, screen settings, and the natural grain of the wood.
