1910's Griswold #9 Cast Iron Skillet with Heat Ring and Slant Logo, 'Erie,' 710 D
1910's Vintage Griswold Slant Logo #9 skillet, is one of the earliest generations of Griswold skillets. It is one of the oldest slant logos bearing only the ERIE name, rather than the later E.P.U. full marking. The surface is smooth as can be, and will darken with each repeat seasoning. It is a "duo finished" piece where the outside was finished in nickel but the inside is black iron.Β It wears with such a unique look, these are very popular among eclectic collectors.Β It sits flat and is a fantastic pan for daily use, and to show off in your gourmet kitchen. Being over a century old, you will be very pleased with your purchase!Β
