Wagner Ware, made in Sidney Ohio, was known for their amazingly light and smooth cast iron cookware, and this #5 pan is a great example! Made after the elimination of the heat ring skillet, the smooth bottom style is perfect for sides and sauté's like asparagus and summer veggies. It has been stripped using a lye bath and electrolysis, and has been seasoned 3 times with our tallow oil blend. It sits flat and has a small amount of pitting that has been 100% restored.
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm.
