1910‘s Vintage Griswold Large Slant #8 skillet, has been restored and seasoned for you. It is one of the oldest slant logos bearing only the ERIE name, rather than the later E.P.U. full marking. The surface is smooth as can be, and will darken with each repeat seasoning. It sits flat and is a fantastic pan for daily use, and to show off in your gourmet kitchen. Being over a century old, you will be very pleased with your purchase! It‘s original surface was nickel plated on the outside with a black iron inside. It has beautifully worn over 100 years and looks amazing. They are becoming increasingly popular because of the unique look to these plated pieces.

I recently purchased a number 8 spider pot. I have been looking for one for several years. I give hearth cooking demonstrations at our local rural heritage museum and needed a spider pot for several dishes. The spider arrived in great shape. The packaging was very good. The condition of this spider was like new. I have since used it and can't be more please.
I have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. I picked up two pieces of Griswold cast iron specifically for breakfast dishes for myself. Couldn’t be more pleased with the seasoning and quality of the pieces and how accurate the item descriptions were. Not to mention the prices were exceptional for the quality. After going back and forth between a brand new cast iron skillet and a vintage piece, I finally decided on a Wagner from Cast and Clara Bell. I love the skillet. It’s a beautiful piece. It shipped quickly and arrived packed so securely. I absolutely cannot wait to use it daily and have a quality piece I can hand down to my daughter someday. I will definitely be purchasing more.
I’ve bought 5 pieces from Cast and Clarabell and show them off to anyone that will give me the time of day. They are all heirloom pieces that I expect my grandchildren to brag about like I brag about my grandmother’s skillet I have.
I bought a number seven Griswold pan, when I received it, it was well packaged and in great condition.
I gave it an additional two seasonings with grapeseed oil, and this thing is better than a Teflon pan as far as nonstick goes. I have several cast-iron pans, and this one is my favorite. Thanks to the casting Clara team for doing great work. I added a number seven lead that I already had to it.
