IMPORTANT: This skillet was unused as far as we can see. The skillet has a natural finish to it. Griswold made skillets in a polish, black iron and a gray natural finish. This one is the latter so it creates some very cook color variations when we season them with tallow. The copper variegations is what you see, it is not from high heat or any issues that give a reddish hue. The seasoning will darken more and more! Beautiful! This griddle was a part of a collection in northern PA. The collector built most of their collections in the 1970‘s, but then kept many of them in his garage for decades. They‘ve now been brought back into circulation and this one is a great one to have. The pan has been cleaned via Electrolysis and has been seasoned three times so it is ready to use. We use ours everyday for a quick grilled cheese or egg omelets. This one moves when prompted so while usable on all surfaces its best for gas or electric coil tops.

I have number 3 through No,10 and No 14 Griswald cast iron pans and the matching covers except the cover for the No. 4 fry pan. I looking for that cover and No. 11. 12, 13, pans and covers. I would appreciate any help you could give me in securing these items. I would also like the No. 2 pan if you were to come across it.

Not perfectly cut, but a repurposed old number seven Griswold pan turned into a perfect utensil for me to use on my grill.
