Have you ever heard the phrase "it‘s not your grandmother‘s....so and so?" Well, this IS your grandmother‘s skillet and they made them so much lighter and smoother back then. Trust us on this one, if you haven‘t used a vintage Lodge (see back of pan heat ring for number of notches) you need to test one out. (testing not available, but you get what we‘re saying...) When we have pan events and meet folks handling restored vintage cast iron, the most common reaction is to how better the quality is once they pick one up. You‘ll see why this is a good starter pan for no notch and single notch collection.

The condition of this spider was like new. I have since used it and can't be more please.
I have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. I picked up two pieces of Griswold cast iron specifically for breakfast dishes for myself. After going back and forth between a brand new cast iron skillet and a vintage piece, I finally decided on a Wagner from Cast and Clara Bell. I love the skillet. It’s a beautiful piece. It shipped quickly and arrived packed so securely. I absolutely cannot wait to use it daily and have a quality piece I can hand down to my daughter someday. I will definitely be purchasing more.

I bought a number seven Griswold pan, when I received it, it was well packaged and in great condition.
I gave it an additional two seasonings with grapeseed oil, and this thing is better than a Teflon pan as far as nonstick goes. I have several cast-iron pans, and this one is my favorite. Thanks to the casting Clara team for doing great work. I added a number seven lead that I already had to it.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Restored to perfection. This is my new daily pan, better than my modern lodge! I ordered 3 different pans, and the packaging was perfect.
