Our handmade cast iron spatulas are crafted right here in Pennsylvania by a local artisan, using reclaimed skillets that could no longer be safely restored for cooking. We only repurpose broken pansnever destroying history unless it‘s unsalvageable. This is a repurposed, vintage tool. It may not be perfectly flat or symmetricaland thats the charm. Each spatula is custom-measured, hand-cut, and shaped one at a time. No two are exactly alike. Expect character, not perfectionthese aren‘t factory-stamped utensils. Once shaped, each piece is restored using our traditional process and seasoned just like our cookware. Ideal for the person who has everything, the backyard BBQ hero, or the die-hard cast iron fan.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.
