Our handmade cast iron spatulas are crafted right here in Pennsylvania by a local artisan, using reclaimed skillets that could no longer be safely restored for cooking. We only repurpose broken pansnever destroying history unless it‘s unsalvageable. This is a repurposed, vintage tool. It may not be perfectly flat or symmetricaland thats the charm. Each spatula is custom-measured, hand-cut, and shaped one at a time. No two are exactly alike. Expect character, not perfectionthese aren‘t factory-stamped utensils. Once shaped, each piece is restored using our traditional process and seasoned just like our cookware. Ideal for the person who has everything, the backyard BBQ hero, or the die-hard cast iron fan.
About This Piece
This fella has had a rough life. We have made it very priced to sell just because someone previous to us left it in vinegar solution which etched permanently the surface, making it difficult to season. What does that mean? Nothing, its a spatula. It just will take a lot of time to blend together better. But if you are just looking to adopt a previously cracked skillet that had a bad owner, this is for you! Made from an early 1920‘s Griswold Large Block Logo #8 skillet, one of the most prized sets they made. A conversation piece youll actually use.

This pan is fabulous. From the first egg, no sticking at all (as long as you don’t overheat the skillet first!) Near mint condition and beautifully restored. If you are looking for the perfect fried egg, you’ve found your vessel.This is my second griswold from these folks, and I will keep coming back as they do a really terrific job.

I recently purchased a number 8 spider pot. I have been looking for one for several years. I give hearth cooking demonstrations at our local rural heritage museum and needed a spider pot for several dishes. The spider arrived in great shape. The packaging was very good. The condition of this spider was like new. I have since used it and can't be more please.
I have been a Griswold collector for 20 + years. Always looking for a piece to add to my cookware cast iron. I don’t hang my pieces I use them daily. I picked up two pieces of Griswold cast iron specifically for breakfast dishes for myself.
