Wagner Cast Iron, made in Sidney Ohio, was known for their amazingly light and smooth cast iron cookware, and this unique #3 Oval Roaster (Dutch oven) is a great example!  If you‘re a collector of cast iron or if you‘re just looking for a very cool and unique skillet for you in the kitchen, you need to look at this one.

It‘s been fully restored and has the feel of a 1920's straight block Wagner oval roaster. Wagner made cast iron pieces for Montgomery Wards in the thirties.  Department stores were a new phenomenon, where you could get anything from dish wares to tires, and Department stores looked for Items like these to sell with their label.  It's an early version of the company's Dutch oven line, where the Wagner Ware stylized logo had not yet been implemented. Called the "Block Logo", collectors know that Wagner's vintage CI is amazing to use, and the earliest versions are fantastic for everyday use. We love these for the unique look it gives to each and every piece.  Sits flat!!!
