Oh baby, this one is a special one! If you want a skillet that lives in rarified air, this would be one of them. Griswold made six different versions of the Erie skillets and series 3 was made in the 1890‘s. This series of skillets were made in sizes 6 through Early makers made their skillets by hand, and the very first Erie skillets were marked by makers with flowers, pineapples, and even a nautical anchor. Only three of the series‘ even made a #6. It has a cool font other than the standard 3rd Series! The 699 p/n is what was eventually used in the 1920‘s when the famous Slant style logo was created. So unique and hard to find. You do not want to miss this. Sits perfectly flat.
