This beautiful 1268 Wagner #8 Dutch Oven has been restored and seasoned three times with our custom oil blend! Its a wonderful show piece and a fantastic tool for your savory soups and chili‘s. This dutch comes with the 1268 C ringed top, sawtooth matching lid as well. There is a lot of discussion around the "flatness" of holloware pieces, because so many of them were not made with concern for flatness back in the early 1900‘s. So it‘s a relatively new concern. BUT this is one of the rarer ones that sit flat on glass. It's not really a big deal either way because dutch ovens are typically used in the oven for roasting and baking, but in the event that you have it on glass, it will be in contact with 90% of the surface!
