This one is beautiful.Β  Stover Waffle Irons were manufactured in the early 19th Century, and were only in existence for a limited time. Like many foundries in American history that did not make it through past the mid 1900's (for many reasons), the Stover Foundry was only producing these amazing pieces of history for a limited time. The base is perfect for any cook top or surface, and is heated in advance on both sides of the paddles before adding batter.Β  The handles are orginal and are in very good shape!Β Β
