WOW! This monster sized Oval Roaster with matching lid/roaster is hard to find.   It is the largest that Griswold made in the oval roaster style and could host a whole turkey.  Made in the roaring 30‘s, this oval number five roaster is the epitome of elegance in cast iron cooking. It‘s a working work of art, with Block Fully Marked 649 Bottom, and the iconic Griswold #650 block logo on the lid. You‘ll love this piece in your cast iron collection for use during the holidays or on Sunday afternoon. Roasts beautifully every time! 

PRICED TO SELL DESCRIPTION:  The pieces have some pitting and restored wear and tear.  The underside of the lid had rust so in restoration it doesn't hold seasoning as a traditional lid.  That will change and build for you over time.  Also the center logo has some sulfur pitting from being used over a wood stove. 

 This pot deserves a kitchen full of laughter, good food and an appreciation of its history and age. Don‘t miss out before it‘s gone.
