Restoration quality · ready to cook"What makes a piece more expensive than the other?", is a question we get just as much as we are asked "can you really cook in these or not?". The answer to the former is, because of demand, quality of the piece, and rarity. The answer to the latter is, ABSOLUTELY! The Griswold products are the clear leader in vintage and antique cast iron cookware for demand, and some of the most prized pieces are the hammered finished pieces.
We were fortunate enough to acquire a few of these pieces and we don‘t see these very often. The hammered pieces are some of the most prized for a good reason so take advantage of this opportunity! It will not be for sale very long! They were made only for a brief period of time and not in a traditional full set with multiple sizes. Skillets included the #3, #5, #8, and #8 Deep Skillet. There was only one size Dutch oven, one round griddle, one size waffle iron, one muffin and one cornstick pan. Such a cool and unique set to collect, and very hard to source.
Sits flat and does not spin.
DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection. All pieces are vintage, and therefore are not in perfect condition. Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm. All items are sold as is, and we have done our best to present them as such. Please review all pictures and ask for further clarification if needed. Thank you! - Cast & Clara Bell
