Lucky #13. 1930s Wagner Ware #13 Skillet w/ Stylized Logo, Heat Ring 1063. A tough one to find!
ABOUT THIS PIECE....
This series of Wagner's Heat Ring Skillets came with a stylized logo at the 12:00 position and the four-digit PN number at the 6:00 position. There is a helper tab for sizes 12 and larger and the size 13 and 14 have the double hole for carrying large amounts of food safely. The number 13 skillet was one of the fewest made in the series because of fears that 13 was unlucky. This is only the first one we've had for sale in the shop and it's a beauty. As the skillets got larger in the number 13 and number 14, they tended to have some movement to them but this one sits dead flat. This is a collection completer and a heck of a skillet to make bacon in!
