Hard to find and Beautiful!! 1880's Griswold No. 7 Waffle Iron with low button hinge base. Don't miss this one
ABOUT THIS PIECE....
Our customers know that when we say that an item is unique and amazing, that weโre spot on in the description. We LOVE this one and donโt want to see it go! This waffle iron is easily a top ten all time item for us. Itโs the cutest waffle iron! Itโs a #7 so itโs smaller than the 8 and 9, but makes PERFECT personal sized waffles. Made in the 1880โs this patent places it along side the earliest Erie skillets like the 1st Series Erie!
The low base heat quickly and evenly so its perfect for any cook top surface. The handles are the small stubby style that was common on these early single, double and hotel waffle irons. They have been replaced and are not original. They are snugly fitted into the original opening and can be removed if necessary. It has been restored with our oil blend and is ready to use!
