Wow what a cool piece for Griswold fans. You will LOVE this gorgeous #6 Maslin Kettle, made by Griswold almost a century ago. This is one of the hardest to find in the series. It has been fully restored so you can use it for soups, braising, or for presentation in this magnificent stew pot. The Griswold large block logo is prominently displayed on the bottom and it sits flat on any surface. Use in the oven or on a cook top. Will work with induction heat elements. IMPORTANT: Please note the restored pitting in the inside of the pot. It was left in a wet environment in its early life so when it came to us it was in dire need of restoration. The work done to preserve it has it rust free and will not be an issue with cooking/cleaning. The outside is gorgeous all around! A Maslin Kettle was used traditionally for making jellies and preserves because its got high walls and a smooth bottom. It‘s perfect for uniform heating.
